Sasser – This was intended to get rid of the most dangerous computer virus ever however, this virus became the worst virus that the history has ever seen. It exploited the buffer overflow vulnerability in the Windows XP and Windows 2000 systems and slowed down the computer until the point of crashing and make it hard to reboot the machine without unplugging it. The interesting part was that, it did not require any manual help rather it spreads without any human interaction.
